Model Railway Exhibition

What’s on

Waverley Model Railway Club is pleased to announce the 2022 Exhibition will be on the Queen’s Birthday Weekend, June 11-13.

The 2022 Exhibition will again be at the Brandon Park Community Centre, 649 Ferntree Gully Road, Glen Waverley, behind the Fire Station and opposite the Brandon Park Shopping Centre.

To celebrate the Club’s belated 50th Anniversary the exhibition will be bigger and better than ever, with a number of layouts making their debut, as well as a number of our most popular exhibitors returning.

The club will be exhibiting our HO scale layout, Victoria Bridge, along with two previously unseen Club layouts, one of which models a bygone era and is sure to turn heads. One of our guest layouts will be Colinsville, which for those who haven’t yet seen it, is one of the best, most detailed layouts on the exhibition scene. There will be modelling displays to demonstrate some of the techniques used in constructing some of the exhibits.  SDS Models will be present, with their latest releases, including the Victorian Railways D3 Class steam locomotive, along with Brunel Hobbies, The Model Emporium and Train World.  There will be a Children’s U – Drive where the younger generation will be able to try their hand at running a train.

So don’t forget, Queen’s Birthday Weekend 2022, 11-13 June.
